Children are very inquisitive. They want to know about everything. This is a great time to teach them about our ecosystems. Children can easily relate to their family members and home life.

Ecosystems are like separate families that have to live amongst each other

What is done to one family of ecosystems affects all of them. What affects the child-s mom, dad, brother or sister will also affect the child. If a child is taught to respect, value and care for everyone in his or her family and home, then the same should be done to protect all the other families of ecosystems within our world.

Micro-batteries lower waste in our ecosystems

Good things should always be done to protect what we have. This includes our own actions as to what we use to control massive waste. Children should know that waste is very bad for our families of ecosystems. That is why recycling is important. Let them be a part of your recycling routine. Also, show them how to use electronics that do not generate as much waste. Using micro-batteries that last a lot longer, that are rechargeable and can be reused is a terrific way to lesson the amount of waste every family of ecosystems may have.

We live in a world with perfectly balanced ecosystems. The way that the world works is designed to balance all life forms together. When something happens to one part of the ecosystem there is a chain reaction through the rest of the balance. Fishing has a way of keeping the ecosystem in good balance.

Fishing helps keep populations of fish balanced. There are some fish that seem to multiply faster than other breeds. Fishing helps keep these types of fish in check.

Fishing within the bounds of local and national regulations keeps healthy population levels.Additional information can be found at http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/more_sports/new_bass_law_aids_hudson_fishermen_6kNz2M6wOA6sKaxCCBhMrL?CMPOTC-rss&FEEDNAME. Sometimes large fish have a way of destroying ecosystems by over eating. Carpe is one type of fish that can easily take over an area if not controlled. By allow fishermen to fish in the area they can keep the carpe population under control.

Fishing also keeps the rivers and lakes free from debris. People throw buckets and all sorts of trash in to the water ways. Fishermen have been known to clean up trash. Sometimes the biggest fish story is a large bucket. Fishing is just like dredging rivers by boats to keep them clean. Fishing is a sport that helps keep ecosystems healthy and clean.

Hunting can be very good for our ecosystems. Many hunters do it for the food. They eat the prey they kill. Certain wildlife would become over populated without the intervention of hunters. Deer and bears are some examples of dangerous problems associated with overpopulated wildlife.

Wildlife overpopulation

In animal overpopulation, they cannot find sufficient food to eat and migrate into areas where we live causing dangerous situations. They roam into the roads which causes car accidents, they go into homes and attack us.I was looking for more information and found it here.

Hunters use micro-batteries

Unfortunately, some say hunters leave their trash behind, such as old batteries. Most hunters are very respective of their eco-system that they hunt in. They want to be able to return there, year after year. Many have started using environmentally friendly micro-energy batteries in their flashlights, cell phones or any other battery operated appliance. These batteries last a really long time because they store their energy more efficiently and greatly reduces the need to throw out old batteries. Micro-batteries are very thin and rechargeable so they can be reused. This cuts down on greenhouse gases, reduces the amount of chemicals and other toxic wastes in our environment. This technology greatly helps protect our ecosystems.

Humans consuming fish for food is as old as humans themselves. However, the demand for sea food continues to rise and therefore fishing in many places has become all about mass production. This is taking its toll on the delicate balance of ecosystems all around the globe. In some cases commercial fishing is depleting fish faster than they can reproduce. Thousands of tons of fish are removed from oceans daily. This is upsetting the natural food chain in oceanic ecosystems. Millions of boats have to be fueled daily to bring in millions of fish and this adds to the overload of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, which adds more environmental problems to the earth as a whole. In addition, some of methods of fishing are more harmful than others. In some places dynamite is used to stun fish or even cyanide. This has negative effects on oceanic habitats. Also there is sea bottom trawling which disturbs the floor of the body of water, disturbing places where fish breed, lay eggs and find their food. There is a risk that humans could fish the ocean to it’s death if we are not careful. It’s certainly something that we should not ignore.
